Ellagic acid, a polyphenol found in fruits and vegetables including blackberries, raspberries, strawberries, cranberries, walnuts, pecans, pomegranates, wolfberry, and other plant foods, is one of the well-studied phytochemical. It possesses antioxidant, antimutagenic, and anticancer properties.
