Agtr2 (angiotensin II type 2 receptor)


Angiotensin II is the most biologically active effector peptide of the RAS and binds to either the angiotensin II type 1 (Agtr1) receptor located within the renal tubule to increase sodium reabsorption or the Agtr2 receptor to decrease sodium reabsorption.
